Ginger Dip
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 1 inch pieces crystalized ginger
- 1/2 can chopped water chestnuts (about 1/4 cup)
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 2 scallions
- 2 tsp soy sauce
- 1 clove garlic
- 1/2 tsp cilantro
Place all ingredients into food processor and process until fairly smooth. Stir in an additional tbsp chopped water chestnuts, add salt to taste.
Roasted Beet Hummus
- 2-3 beets, roasted in the oven until tender
- 1 can chick peas
- 2 tbsp tahini paste
- Juice of 1/2 lemon
- 1 garlic clove
- 1/4 cup olive oil
- salt and pepper to taste
Place all ingredients into food processor and process to a smooth paste.
